Corrective / Medical / Remedial / Clinical focuses on actually correcting a physical problem, pain, or dysfunction. The clinical therapy session and subsequent sessions follow a treatment plan that you develop that has short and long term end-goals in place that aim to resolve the client’s problem or chief complaint. 

 

Trigger-point​

A “muscle knot” is a trigger point: a small patch of muscle tissue in spasm. A few trigger points here and there is usually just an annoyance. These can cause referral pain or isolated local pain. Our expertise can focus on these spots for relief.

 

Relaxation ​

A relaxation massage helps de-stress and loosen up your body and is great for those who have had a hard working week or feel like treating themselves to some TLC! The treatment consists of flowing strokes, kneading and gentle manipulations of the muscles performed at your chosen pressure.

 

Swedish 

A Swedish massage can be slow and gentle or vigorous and bracing, depending on the results the therapist wants to achieve. Swedish massage calms the nervous system, promotes relaxation, boosts your mood, stimulates your blood circulation and lymphatic systems, and keeps muscle tissues more supple.  It is most effective when you receive it on a regular basis.

Oncology ​

Oncology Massage is a complementary medicine therapy designed for people with cancer histories, in cancer treatment, those who have had lymph nodes removed or radiated, as well as those in the final stages of living.

 

Prenatal (12weeks+)

Prenatal massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue.

Deep Tissue (upgrade + $10)

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles. It is used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.

Aromatherapy (upgrade + $10)

Aromatherapy massage is massage therapy but with highly concentrated plant oils, called essential oils, added to the massage oil or lotion.

Full Hot Stone (upgrade + $20)

Hot Stone Massage is a massage technique that uses heated stones to relax and massage sore muscles. The stones can be used for their heat alone, or as massage tools. Causes vasodilation of capillaries and allows the tissue to warm up and increased blood flow that promotes healing. Also the basalt stone is lightly exfoliating and their weight is deeply grounding.
